Registration Documents

MA Registration Documents

Students should deliver the following documents in person to the Graduate School of Social Sciences in order to complete their registration.

1- BA/ BSc Diploma (Original& a copy) + Translation

Bachelor's degree diploma and a notarized translation for MA program registrations.

Diploma Equivalency Certificate from Council of Higher Education (YÖK) is required for diplomas received from a country other than Turkey.

2- BA/ BSc Transcript (Original& a copy) + Translation

Original transcript and notarized translations. GPAs should be added in 4 grade scale. If a student’s grade is in letters or 100 points scale, the score should be converted to 4 grade scale.

Conversion of different universities is not valid. Grades are converted based on the YÖK Conversion Scale and the application system does the conversion automatically. If your GPA is in 100 points scale, you should add your GPA in 100 points scale, as it appears on your transcript.

3- ALES or GRE or GMAT Report (printout)

4- English Proficiency Report (printout)

5- Turkish Proficiency Certificate (Original& a copy) (If any)

Turkish Proficiency Certificate is required to register to a program offered in Turkish.TÖMER Certificate in C1 level issued by a public university in Turkey or Turkish Proficiency Certificate in C1 level issued by Yunus Emre Institute is required to register to a program offered in Turkish. TÖMER certificate is valid for 3 years.

If a student enrolls to a program offered in English, she/he can register to the program without the Turkish Proficiency Certificate but she/he should deliver B1 TÖMER or Yunus Emre Institute Certificate to graduate and to get her/his diploma.

7- Passport bio page (Original& a copy)

8- Tuition fee payment receipt

9- 2 passport size photos

PhD Registration Documents

Students should deliver the following documents in person to the Graduate School of Social Sciences in order to complete their registration.

1- BA/ BSc+ MA/MSc Diploma (Original& a copy) + Translation

Bachelors and Master degree diplomas and notarized translations for PhD registrations.

Diploma Equivalency Certificate from Council of Higher Education (YÖK) is required for diplomas received from a country other than Turkey.
